COLOUR USAGE
O&M CØR.color has various usages for creating the ultimate colour result. Because CØR.color is free from Ammonia, it can be used as a hybrid range offering for both permanent and non-permanent colour results.
The long lasting result comes down to CØR.color keeping the hair hydrated and in better condition throughout the colour process by using Macadamia and Coconut oil. MBT helps
to ensure long lasting colour results.
For colouring, we have a choice of 6 O&M Activators to choose from.
Activators and their levels of lift
1% (3.5Vol) - Zero lift for toning
1.5% (5Vol) - Level on level (non-permanent color result)
3% (10Vol) - On level/darkening/up to 1 level of lightening
6% (20Vol) - 1–2 levels of lift/grey hair coverage
9% (30Vol) - 2–3 levels of lift
12% (40Vol) - Up to 4 levels of lift
PLUS 15
Timing for O&M colour is simple. Just add 15 minutes to the Activator you are using.
The +15 for timing is a quick and easy guide to use. Timing may alter for grey coverage or darkening on natural hair.
3.5Vol + 15 = 18 minutes
5Vol + 15 = 20 minutes
10Vol +15 = 25 minutes
20Vol + 15 = 35 minutes
30Vol + 15 = 45 minutes
40Vol +15 = 55 minutes
MIXING RATIOS
All CØR.color must be mixed correctly with our O&M Activator for guaranteed results. We suggest using electronic scales for measurement.

ACTIVATORS
Original Mineral have developed a range of activators specifically to be used with CØR.color. An activator containing a blend of macadamia oil and coconut oil works as a natural emollient to maintain softness and moisture.
The activator has a dual action during the colour process:
To drive the colour into the hair shaft and oxidise the colour molecules and To oxidise the natural melanin from the hair
All O&M Activators are stabilised and contain oxygen
in controlled quantities which are released once the Activator is mixed with the colour.

UNDERLYING PIGMENTS
This table shows the relationship of the natural level to the underlying pigment.
The underlying pigment is lightened when an Activator is applied and is not visible but affects the result. The underlying pigments do become visible when we apply lighteners.
Sometimes the underlying pigment will help to increase the vibrancy of the finished result but most of the time, if the target shade does not work with the underlying pigment we must add mix tone to our formula.
