Are O&M Fragrances Natural?Updated 6 months ago

O&M’s entire product line is based on formulating non-toxic hair care that's safe for both the hair and body. While our products contain a high % of naturally derived ingredients (up to 96%) we thoroughly research the small % of non-natural ingredients in our products to ensure they are safe, non-toxic, and meet stringent regulatory standards.

Our fragrances contain a blend of both natural essential oils and non-natural fragrance. The non-natural component to our fragrance is less than 1% of the overall formula and is meant to help accentuate certain citrus and floral notes within the essential oil fragrance blend.

Safe non-natural fragrance ingredients are very useful because not all scents can be found naturally, and a much broader range of fragrances can be created, and the odour strength or stability can be improved.

The non-natural component of our fragrances does NOT contain any of the following ingredients: animal fats or oils, benzalkonium chloride, bisphenol A(BPA), butoxyethanol, coal tar hair dyes and other coal tar ingredients, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, ethanolamines, formaldehyde, hydroquinone, methyl cello solve, methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone, mercury and mercury compounds (also listed as Thimerosal), mineral oil, parabens, polyethylene glycol, retinyl palmitate, sodium laurel sulfate, sodium laureate sulfate, triclosan, or triclocarban.

All O&M fragrances are also Phthalate-Free, GMO-Free and Irradiation-Free.

O&M uses only the highest grade, safe ingredients all of which adhere to IFRA (International Fragrance Association) and RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials) guidelines to ensure each fragrance ingredient threshold is within safety levels.

Our fragrances are formulated by experienced perfumers, proudly made in Australia to conform to our well regarded GMP and national standards making them very high quality and assuring they are safe for use.
